Patiently, I waited for the moment to wear my Mawi earrings from last collection’s, Pretty Tough, until I realised that there is no particular moment to come. And since I wrote once already that these precious pieces are also perfectly fitting into everyday life, I just went for it and clipped them on this morning.
I think it should be the way you combine things rather than waiting for “that moment” to arrive to put a particular piece of jewellery (or cloth although this might be a little more challenging – ball gown on a usual Monday is quite strange, right?!) in scene. It’s much more about that feeling you associate with that certain design and the image you want to transform while wearing them.
Again, I went for a low-keyed outfit to let my two babies shine brightly enough. The pullover builds that rather soft contrast to the harsh, rock chic-ed jeans and leather jacket and are fulfilled by my sharp suede heels.
The hematite pleated earrings feature a dome shaped drop detail (which let it appear a absolutely feminine yet with that certain twist) and that ruby coloured “heart”, which adds that fierceness together with the spikes.
Normally, I would have added my darker shade of lipstick but then it would have been too much for the day. Will try another outfit for a night out in the near future. For now, this is the way I feel comfy wearing my Mawi’s. :)
